“Clearly no one in his government showed him the text of the UN Security Council resolution 47 of 1948 which states unequivocally that Pakistan withdraw from J&K first,” Omar wrote on Twitter while reacting to the statement of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.

On Thursday, Abbasi in his maiden address to the UN General Assembly had said India refused to implement unanimous resolution of the Security Council, which enabled plebiscite in Kashmir.

In another tweet, he said, “Let’s not even begin to mention the systematic dismembering of the parts of J&K by Pakistan since 1947, including gifting parts to China!”
